Fabric Trends Summer 2009. Fashion discovers a new light-heartedness. Gone is the age of austerity in patterns and colors.
Imagination and optimism express themselves in a sensory, multi-faceted palette of shades. Prints and colored fabric lead into a paradisiacal garden with effervescent creativity. NATURAL BEAUTY
The deeply felt longing for authentic naturalness expresses itself in soft, light neutral shades. Chalk, paper, parchment, corn and leather add natural nuances. Sky blue refreshes like a summer breeze. A relaxed allure banks on sophisticated natural blends and filigree, unobtrusive patterns. Relaxed urban shapes characterize a timeless modernity which has no need to force itself into the foreground.

Vegetal greens extend from casual khakis to intensive chlorophyll. A sporty look in contemporary functionality provides new chances for technics in fibers and finishes.
IMPROVISATION
Exotic paradises move ever closer as a result of modern travel and communication habits. Their tribal messages are archaic basic patterns, whose appeal has retained its strength to this day. Deep, dark exotic woods, traditional indigo or the powerful accents of tropical flowers or birds of paradise embody expressive harmonies. As in World Music or cuisine, the shades are combined like samples. The most varied directions of folk and street culture influence flow into a very individual style and personal remix.
